Looked sharper today but once again everything is 25 or 30 yards out and no real threat. There seems to be no real shape or plan. At times we don't even have any players between their midfield and defence, never mind trying to get in behind the defence.

Alex Sandro has been poor. I'm not convinced how fit he is. Bonucci with lazy defending.

Rabiot and Dybala have been excellent. Costa has already brought more than Berna did in his past run of games.

explain yourself pls
Who else is there?
French and German teams haven’t played competitive football in months and will be rusty as hell

Liverpool is out
Real Madrid will probably go out
Barcelona is in crisis
We’ve already beaten Atletico
Man City have a bad defence and lost to Arsenal recently

The trophy has Sarri’s name written all over it

Juve played well IMO. Got tired in the last 10 min.

Lazio is doing much better than expected and than their previous games.

I'm impressed with Rabiot, didn't know he was capable of playing forward like this.

We just lack a bit more directness in play. I think Juve may have too many lefties on the team, always going to that side. Ramsey being a leftie doesn't help.

At this point the CL winner will be whoever is in the best shape physically and i have hard time imagining that will be an Italian side.
Actually I think Italian teams have the best chance. The German and French teams will not have played competitive football for a long time. The Spanish and English teams to a lesser extent. OF course, it helps if we win wrap up Serie A ASAP so we don't have to push for the remaining games.

The 1st half started well but as time passed there was an emerging inability to quicken the pace when in possession. There is too much static movement and not enough speed when moving forward. Surprised how little influence Dybala has in attack.

It will be intriguing to see what changes are made personnel wise as the 2nd half kicks off - if any.

Ramsey has disappointed.

Why does that matter?
Besides, anything can happen in a final. It will be some achievement if we get there in the first place.

I have a bad feeling that Lazio will win this. second half will resemble the first and they will score on the counter. With the way we play under Sarri, especially as the team tires, we will concede chances and the defense is not up to stopping them.

Sarriball should result in us scoring goals from these final third 1-2 passing but it doesn't and most of our goals still come from individual brilliance which is unlikely to happen when Lazio defends with 10.

No. They looked toothless apart from the Immobile chance.
True, but their more direct approach can cause issues. Whenever they find space on the wing they aren't afraid to pump it in the box and with the presence of SMS and Immobile they'll always be dangerous. We on the other hand, move the ball slowly from side to side without any penetration. This just won't work against a team that defends with 11 men and that tries to capitalize on the space we leave behind, especially on the wing. We'll see what the second half brings.

True that. We've leave them a ton of time to reorganize after winning the ball. Need to be more direct and take more shots.
