Costa looks fantastic as long as he's more than 35 yards from goal. As soon as he gets any closer his mind seems to scramble and retardation sets in.
Costa‘s best trait is his ability to carry the ball forward. I don’t understand why Allegri wants Dybala to play that role, it suits Dougie a lot more. Dybala should be as close to goal as possible.

Maybe he has Van Nistelrooy potential
what? :D Such a different style of play
I rate Didier much higher than Ruud, and I didn't say anything about Drogba style, only about his level ;). Drogba was one of few forwards that were physically very strong, quick, audacious (in a good sense) and always dangerous. I can see all of it in Kean if he continues to progress. But his style of play is different indeed.

Mostly because it's hard to play all 4 of Ronaldo, Mandzu, Dybala, Costa and not have our weakass midfield overrun.

With Cuadrado it would be okay, as he offers higher work-rate to help out the mid, but not with Costa.

Got a hard time to stay awake considering the borefest it is. Emre Can still looks far from sharp. Kean seems like a cool dude and Bologna are absolute shit.

A solution would be to play 442 diamond with Costa as a 10, and play only 2 of Ronaldo/Dybala/Mandzukic

It would be very hard to bench any of them though.

With Mandzukic being out for over a month or so according to reports, Costa needs to quickly find his form again. Right now he aint making it a headache for Allegri, prolly should start Berna if he keeps up this half assed efforts.
