Pretty poor performance after starting well.
Been a bit too scrappy, not sure it was the best idea to start the same 3 mids who played 90mins in Madrid when you have options on the bench. I hope Pjanic's sub was just a precaution.
It seems our tactic has been to get it wide and send in crosses. The problem is the crosses had been poor, Matuidi offering little when attacking and Mandzukic too isolated. We need more than one player getting in the box if we cross it and Dybala closer Mandzukic for knock downs.
Costa changed the game by showing that he can put in an excellent cross. A bit worrying how important he is to our attacking play, we look a bit lost without him.
Hopefully we keep the ball better in the second half. I'd like to see Bentancur or Marchisio on so we can hold on to it better.
