Matuidi/AS occupy the left, depending on what formation we use at that moment. Higuain and Dybala are the most advanced 2 obviously

Strange game. We opened the game very strongly and could have been 2-0 up. Then we’ve struggled since Pavoletti’s header onwards. Looks like the racist Cagliari crowd have done their best to Matuidi off his game too. Pjanic looks off his game in midfield, so many misplaced passes and he’s getting dispossessed so easily, Dybala just looking to get a free kick every time and Higuain just slowing down our gameplay. Need bigger halves from all of them after the break if we want to win this one. Cagliari are playing a very dirty, physical game.

Or play 4-4-2 with Berna - Matuidi/Costa on the wings and Mandzu-Dybala as Front two. Just get Higgy off the pitch when his form is this awful.

Every time i watch sandro this season its like his trying maybe 75%. He has/had the pace, physics to do alot more damage down the left. Up the tempo and hopfully they dont score the first goal and they will tire after 60min
