Dybala hasn't played really well in months. He's had some decent matches through the winter, but even then his finishing was really poor. He's not much of a CAM so far. He has trouble moving into space and reading the game when set a little deeper it seems. He's far better when he's playing closer to the box.
Assuming we keep him, and keep using him as a CAM it will be interesting to see if he can improve in the position next year.
At Cordoba he played as a 9, at Palermo as an SS and sometimes a false 9/Aguero type... and last season of course he was an SS again. It's been a long time since he played CAM with any regularity, so perhaps he'll develop more through the end of this season and into the next.
