I think Allegri wanted to press them high which really didn't work. The other reason I can think of is that it enables us to leave a couple of players higher up the pitch when defending in order to counter faster.

It's no desaster, but we're having some clear problems with our gameplay, we can't really play through the middle at all and those long balls to our wingbacks don't work all that well.

Overall deserved scoreline, though it could've easily looked differently had we just converted one of our ~3 good chances - and you're right, the forum reaction would've looked extremely differently in that case.

Game was even in my opinion. Napoli scored a great goal. Sure this new style has its issues. But we usually suffer against Napoli, and arent really today
