The best thing is that Cuadrado fit like a glove on the team. Much better. This is clearly the scheme to go. CBs have been very solid, and Mandzukic played well, his first touch and build up play was good.

The bad: Evra (Allegri's stupidity here); Pogba looks immature is ever; Hernanes is not good enough to play at that position; Sturaro not good enough to play at this level in the starting team; Morata is is very bad form and is not a winger, and chemistry with Mandzukic remains very doubtful, as it looked from the very beginning.

But overall, the team seemed organised, that's what's most important here.

I want to see Sandro for Evra, Pereyra for Sturaro and Dybala for Morata.

except its not 4-3-3...
We are playing our usual diamond formation only with Cuadrado as one of the mid trio although he plays it differently...
On paper Hernanes is behind the forwards but its different on the field...
Morata plays half as an attacking midfielder Cuadrado is both wide and center Hernanes position is behind the forwards but play a bit more defensively
I think Allegri did a great job to prepare the team (judging from this half alone)

Also too bad Morata tried to get the ball as Pogba was onside and we could have been 1-0 up should he left it from offside position
Ah ok, I just saw the players in the game and thought it looked like it was a 4-3-3

Who was that stupid $#@! who almost cost a goal around 3rd minute?

Sturaro? Hernanes?

Anyway Sturaro out, he is useless.

And we were robbed a goal, that wasn't offside.
Sturaro hasnt been playing great but he wasnt that bad
As for the goal - yes it was an offside since Morata was offside and tried to get the ball therefore he allegedly affected the play.. So yes I would have been happy to see the ref ignore it but it was the right decision!

Pogba also needs to improve his passing, and Morata was the worst player on the field.

Also it's great to finally have a player on the flank that can actually cross
Morata wasnt the worst player - He plays a bit behind his usual place therefore less effective!
Mandzukic has definitely been the worst player as he did absolutely nothing but fouls!

Mandzu close a lot of space in the back and was basically fighting their player.

Ok but if he is this rusty now why aren't we playing dybala ?

That's what I don't get. But if you look at the team on the field, Morata is actually playing fully on the left as a LWF. He's capable of that, he showed it at Madrid, but it clearly isn't suiting him today, as he's out of form. Dybala isn't really capable of playing LWF, if he's a winger, he's on the right where he can cut in and shoot. He played RWF at times for Palermo and Instituto. I think the formation is a bit of a mess, or at least how Allegri has set it up. Morata is playing far too wide and back toward mid for a player of his qualities. As a LWF he should be playing with a more free role, and towards the centre.

With this team, I'd like to see a 4-4-2 right now.

Licht-Bonucci-Chiello-Sandro
Cuadrado-Hernanes-Pogba-Pereyra
-----------Dybala-Morata

This team would be absolutely deadly on the counter.
