I heard he was in the team for his amazing hold up and link up play though, that's why it's always justifiable to start him. Even when he's not scoring he's providing a great service to the team.

In reality though, if he's not giving the ball away he's standing in an offside position

In the last match we had not created one chance, besides the goal. We show a little more creativeness and our passing is better. It's still not good, but not as bad as some make it out to be. I mean even Llorente created a chance for himself, that has to count for something. With Pirlo not in the field, we play a lot faster as well.
Sure, we need to step up a lot, but it seems a to me that a goal would be justified if keep this up
