Usual over reaction on Juventuz I see....

Lyon have been tactically good, have sat incredibly deep allowing no room and heavily marked Pirlo.

There is no room for any player other than Bonucci and he has been wasteful, although has had the odd decent pass.

I expect Lyon to push out more in the second half and more room will open up.

If we are continuing to have to play long passes then Llorente would be the best option.
Lyon - tactically good
Juventus - tactically poor

I think that's more the point people are trying to make

You can man mark Pirlo because we leave 3 players behind half. There is no consequence for Lyon to sacrifice a player just for Pirlo since we only have 6 players in attack.

If you swap a CB for a trequartista, you can still man mark Pirlo but you will leave a hole in the midfield if Pirlo moves to Bonucci's area to play regista. Then we score goals.

If I was a Lyon player I'd be so extremely confident for the second half.

Every team we play in Europe thinks to themselves after 20 minutes "Is this seriously the mighty Juventus? You've got to be kidding me"

Fuck conserving energy, that is the biggest myth about this team.
What energy, where is it when you need it? Imagine this team right now playing in CL quarters, come on, someone would destroy us, while we conserving energy.Conte should make their tranings lighter in next season.

I feel like jumping off the balcony. We look like we don't give a $#@!, even Conte. Looks like we got 11 Sissoko's who can't pass a ball. Bonucci's long balls, WTF? :sergio: Where's our nice play we had a couple of years ago? We just lay there and let them get in position. We don.t use the space they give us and stay in 1st gear. WTF JUVE???
The believers would tell you: You're overreacting. We won 3 scudetti. Don't question Conte.

Blame whatever you want but this has NOTHING to do with fatigue.
It has.
Earlier in the season we covered the lack of pure talent with maniacal running. If our players move as well as they did earlier in the season, we'd always have another option for a pass in midfield. But we don't run as much and that's why we are predictable and one dimensional. Now a team needs to man mark Pirlo, and Juve are done. It's as simple as that.
Vucinic can help us in this regard in the last matches of this season, but that's not a long term answer. We'll have another bad season in CL and we won't be as good in serie A next year if we keep ignoring pure talent and creativity at the expense of athleticism.

Joe Cole on ITV 4 just made a more tactically aware point than conte has this season.

Sub on gio for a cb, play him behind the strikers and we'll free up pirlo by dragging a man off him.

Please talk to Conte and tell us more, i am ready to learn.
I don't know why you feel the need point out the very few of my posts, where I critize our approach. And I wrote you've no idea what's going on, cause you think the blame is on Bonucci instead of looking at how Lyon are playing. They figured out our tactics from the beginning and no other cb in the world could do anything different.
