I would have saved it, but it's not the point, when a player starts swinging at the ball the goalkeeper is going to leave it or he'll clatter into him and anything can happen. Horrific attempt from Vidal.

If Vidal was to let the ball go, he must give some kind of signal first right on time. Unfortunately the ball rolled a little fast and no time for signalling Buffon so he must and should've clear the ball.

And hopeully, Matri will stop trying to be Vucinic and focus at scoring.
To replace Matri, only DP can do it, between we need someone who can both create and finish.

Good first half IMO, frustrating yes, but we had a good display. Esti and especially Pepe have made us handicapped upfront though. Vidal, in spite of his horrid mistake, had a good half too. Roma are bad, here's hoping for an early goal in the second half.
