Melo had the right attitude before getting backstabbed. To rate Marchisio and Pazienza over him is blatant nationalist favorism...
And since we wanted to upgrade Quaq, why buy him this year?
March and Paz are just back-ups. Melo you can debate forever but something about him wasn't right. Though i would've preferred Melo-Pirlo-Vidal this year.
Quag was an obligation to buy(i'm guessing) and isn't worth selling now with the injury concern.

Melo is a good player but I agree something in his mentality just not right for us

the only thing not right with Melo, is the fact that he hasnt Italian...
Melo could have stayed as a sub at least, since we failed to make a profit, he was at least good enough to stay as a sub and a title contender wonna be, wouldnt suffer much for the extra 1.5mil for his salary, rating Pazienza and Marchisio over him, cannot be justified by non nationalists...

We knew that he was injury prone, he missed half of the season, the obligation is only in the mind of Marotta's admirers, there never was an official source to claim such a thing.
