A decent half. We imposed our half on them but it couldnt start off without losing the ball to opposition as many times as one can remember. Udinese's midfield were rigid and the CB did enough to keep Di natale and Sanchez at bay. Melo has been good in the middle despite being outnumbered. I still dont understand what exactly marchisio brings on the left. Grosso has played well. DP needs to make a better difference of the set pieces because thats proberly only place where we will get the goals. Krasic running to the byline for generally unknown reasons rather than at the players and maybe cutting in. Martinez has been impressive, winning headers and attempting to have a run himself. This man for me can make a difference but whether we keep a clean sheet in the second half is all a different story.

The further up the pitch Aquilani is, the more useless. He thrives playing deep.

Um of course he's better further up pitch, where he can pull off shots (something I rated him for when he was at Roma). He's barely doing anything playing deep right next to Melo, and that's a rubbish tactic anyway, adds predictability to all of our attacks.
