I think that quite easily has to be one of the worst Juve teams of the last 50 years

We clearly need a striker. Del Piero cannot last, Iaquinta is injured a lot, Quagliarella is out for the season and Amauri is Amauri.

There is nothing wrong with signing Toni, I was against it but if he keeps up today's performance he will be fine.

Yes we need defenders but a striker was needed too.

Luca Toni is an awful signing. Pure and simple. If we disregard the fact that Luca Toni is finished as player (infact he was a player who had about 3-4 golden years in an otherwise ordinary career) he would need to be paired with younger legs, someone who is quick and nimble. We don't have anyone that fits the bill on that front so if we want Toni to work we would need to sign another striker.

And anyway to fix a troubled club, you start with the basics. You build solid foundations and make yourself hard to beat. Defence is priority over Offence. It has been for years now

Inter will be in the top 4 very soon, Roma are hot and cold so who knows about them. Lazio who knows. Napoli seem the real deal.

Inter is just a far better squad than us. They are only two points behind with two matches in hand. They will finish higher. Milan will finish higher. Napoli seems stronger and should finish higher.

Roma? Samp? Palermo? Lazio? Can we outlast all of those?
