I can't understand why Melo isn't playing. I thought Del Neri subbed him after an hour against Lecce for a reason.
Me too. There's absolutely no reason for resting Melo. These players are paid to play two matches per week at least. If they can't then ship them off.

Amauri hasn't received a single service btw, our wingers were awful to say the least. The one chance he had he created it himself.

Make your flanks/wingers move and run, provide assists and then judge your strikers.

LETS GIVE HIM MORE TIME GUYS!!!!

:cookie:
How much more time do you want to afford the man? It's not like he's getting any younger & his goal scoring record speaks for itself. He was/is/will never be a 20 goal a season stiker which is what we desperately need. We do not have one in our team. We chose to let the only one we had go.

& even if he doesn't get much service, when he does get the ball he is absolute rubbish at holding onto it with that first touch of his!

Agreed. I don't know why people are calling out Amauri for having a bad game. He hasn't done anything but it's not exactly his fault. Our centre midfielders can't pass, our wingers can't dribble or cross.
Amauri had many balls that came to his feet which he completely failed to control and gave the ball away

I think Sissoko is making it harder for Marchisio to play football, he's been moving a lot and positioning himself wrong, Sissoko that is. With Melo on the pitch, Marchisio can do better.

I'm not one of those guys who thinks Giovinco is the next Messi but FFS if we were intent on throwing away the EL with our bench players we might as well have kept him for games like this.

Martinez is a joke.
