At the same time, we're playing much better offensively than our recent games. The difference again is our fullbacks, they are skinned repeatedly on counter-attacks.

Krasic is cutting inside without the ball alot more and Grygera even got forward to occupy that wasteland of open space.

Ahhh Matri..I think he was being pulled down no?
Yeah, one of those ones that the defender can get away with, as Matri was stretching.

His first miss was bad, didn't even force a good save, but at least he is looking like he could score. The ball has gone towards the goal at least, so he is up on Amauri in that respect.

In what way?

All he's done is miss two chances. Looks pretty Amaurish to me.
He's made himself available to receive some passes without falling down and crying for a free kick. Made a good chance for Krasic, which is more than Amauri did all season.

Sure, he should have done better from those chances, but to judge him with the same yardstick as Amauri wouldn't be fair 45 minutes into his Juve career.

Judging him with the same yardstick as Amauri is what EVERYONE here has done, so no, we're going to judge him like those judge Amauri. Sorry.

Definitely more composure on the ball and in our movement tonight. I've got to say I think Matri's doing a half decent job out there. One botched up opportunity that he should've buried, but that's just probably nerves and the weight of the occasion. The first big one in his career. I think apart from that, he's moving like a striker, better movement than I've seen from either Iaq or Amauri all season. He's getting into decent positions, and that's a good sign. I'm sure he's going to grow in confidence as the minutes wear on. We're giving a good account of ourselves, and I feel like theres more goals coming from us tonight. At least one more.

And as an aside, Aqua is looking like a million bucks out there tonight. But only a million.
