De ceglie and zwebina basically make both centrebacks forced to operate as centrebacks AND fullbacks. Melo is an idiot. When your game is clearly...lacking composure, as a midfielder, it makes sense to stick to the simple things. Do the simple things well first, then aim for showmanship...On this form, he doesn't want to stay at Juve, and shouldn't.
DP looks like a spent force, but he looked that way from the first minute, not just the 45th. His miss one on one with the keeper was pathetic. Vincenzo is still rusty, and will be until next season. Marchisio and diego are trying. Poulsen keeping things simple,..Chiellini slightly shaky, but that is more due to having de ceglie's main opponents to contend with as well as his own.
This midfield combination is ruined by Melo.
Catania's goal was lucky. And we have had as many if not more chances to score. Luck has played a part in the scoreline, so has poor finishing on our part...mainly DP, but also Iaquinta's left foot effort from 15 yards. Neither striker made their keeper work when given a chance to shoot from inside the box. Other than DP's effort in a scramble, which he seemed to handball first.
Who can we bring on for Melo, De Ceglie, zebina and DP??? Fuck...only three eh??? Worst offenders are both fullbacks and melo. I expect Zach to have made a change when the game restarts.\

The whole team is playing so poor (with Buffon as an exception). Melo should come out for Candreva to give some movement in the midfield.
Poulsen and Marchisio are doing the cleaning in the midfield and they do pass better than Melo, so basically there is no point in keeping Melo. Take him off of the field NOW.
