Not really, he's not creative at all and he can't hold up the ball. He's only average, good back up player.
you gotta get the basics of playing football right man. playing for barca does not mean you have to be creative. its about passing the ball and his one-touch-passes are pretty good ... in fact he always tries to move the ball quickly ... so your argument that he can not hold the ball up is totally irrelevant, because barca do many passes and dont hold up the ball and dribble in midfield, because it would make the game flow much slower ....

Everyone here just judges him from what he showed in Juve:rolleyes:
He was awesome in Germany, good in Sevilla and still not bad here and he still performs very very good for his NT.
He's inconspicuous that's why people judge him like that.

I don't hate him and he'd be in my Juve team right now. I liked how he played before but it's not that level he's at right now. It's not like he's the only one that disappoints here, all of our midfielder players are pretty much below their usual level.

But I don't think he's a perfect player for Barcelona, not on that position. Their players have something else, who are simply different type. I think they have better player at their disposal.

He has to show his worth here, so far we can only hail him based on his performances from Spain and Germany.

Watching this Juventus side is just...depressing, and/or, disgusting. The worst part is, it's difficult to even single something or someone out, as there is seemingly a fundamental and pervasive problem from the ground up of our very play. We have no "style of play" to even impose on others. We're disjointed, bereft of any ideas going forward, uncoordinated and weak at the back, and just plain impotent in the middle. For a club of world renown, you'd think someone would step in sooner, rather than later, and say "Okay, enough of these speculative, confused long balls forward to an isolated striker up front, it's not working." But no, the agony continues. Blah, going to sleep.

I wonder what Blanc's gonna say after the match if we win playing like this. Le projet continue? :frown:
Bettega will be shouting FUCK THE PROJECT in his ear. Lets face it, Bettega is a big boy with a strong personality and Blanc is a baby who's been surrounded by little bitches (Secco and the like) his whole career.
