people here just want him to get the ball and score or assist every time he plays.. what he does tonight is very good tactically to let the likes of Camo to run the show.
The main difference between him and Molinaro atm is that Giovinco is having to get through 4-5 players and failing while Molinaro never does a cross when he has the ball all for himself. And failing.
I wasn't really convinced when all the rumours came out either. I love the player, but he isn't long term no matter how well he performs. Seemed like a frantic last minute deal.
That's probably an element involved, although it should be forgiven granted how superior a player he is. However, that doesn't discount that Giovinco is having a poor to mediocre, at best, game. He's not done much with the ball aside from getting "fouled" (more so due to his weakness) or gift possession to the opposition.
