ok, lets face it, del piero isn't a very effective player right now, he is physically weak when fighting for balls, easily pushed over. and he is also getting slow, easily getting covered. But, he still has that skills to do something special every now and then.

so, to sum it up. Del Piero is a very inconsistant great player.

His contribution bar free kicks has been minimal, and he only played at a good level in the real madrid games, i didn't even notice him against chelsea so dont pretend he has been amazing.
