Line-ups: Old guard at Stamford Bridge Wednesday 25 February, 2009
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alessandro Del Piero, Amauri and Mauro Camoranesi take on Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka as Juventus visit Chelsea this evening.
Claudio Ranieri made the trip back to Stamford Bridge without the injured Cristiano Zanetti, Paolo De Ceglie, Jonathan Zebina and Dario Knezevic.
David Trezeguet is fit again and scored against Palermo at the weekend, but is only on the bench, as Amauri and Del Piero are the first choice front two at the moment.
Veterans Pavel Nedved and Camoranesi get the nod despite fitness concerns, while Olof Mellberg and Christian Molinaro get the nod instead of Zdenek Grygera.
This is Chelsea's Champions League debut under Coach Guus Hiddink, who replaced Phil Scolari earlier this month.
Hiddink is unable to factor Deco into his squad due to a hamstring injury, while Michael Essien and Ricardo Carvalho have not recovered from their lay-offs.
Unlike Scolari, he has shown he wants to field a more attacking line-up with three strikers - Nicolas Anelka, Solomon Kalou and Didier Drogba.
Chelsea: Cech; A Cole, Terry, Alex, Bosingwa; Ballack, Mikel Obi, Lampard; Anelka, Drogba, Kalou
Chelsea bench: Hilario, Ivanovic, Di Santo, Malouda, Ferreira, Mancienne, Stoch
Juventus: Buffon; Mellberg, Chiellini, Legrottaglie, Molinaro; Camoranesi, Tiago, Sissoko, Nedved; Del Piero, Amauri
Juventus bench: Manninger, Iaquinta, Trezeguet, Poulsen, Marchisio, Grygera, Marchionni
