Vieira got a yellow for a foul he made and he couldn't stop complaining. He most probably insulted the referee and only then he got the red card. Stankovic was mad at Vieira and it was a deserved red card, i guess.
But the penalty was really harsh. If i was a ref i wouldn't give a penalty for that even if it's in Juve's favour.
