Decent first half display but we need to control and keep the ball better.

Buffon - not much to do
Grygera - ok
Legrottaglie - solid
Chiellini - strong in the air
Molinaro - poor
Nocerino - good running, poor passing
Zanetti - not at his best
Nedved - only one good play in 45 minutes; poor
Palladino - looks dangerous with the ball at his feet
Del Piero - best player on the pitch
Trezeguet - not good but needs better service

I'd like to see Tiago soon. Maybe Criscito for Molinaro.

Seriously, what are you people talking about? Del Piero had a very good first half. He looked lively and had some great touches. If anyone needs to be subbed it's Nedved as he has been invisible and he's on a yellow.

Man, who would have thought going into this season that we would be depending on Legrottaglie to QB the defense... and him actually being solid?? Good for him.

Palladino, Del Piero and Zanetti are also really solid. Chiellini and Grygera look good too.

Palladino started well but kinda drifted out of the game. It's between Palla and DP for best player so far though.

DP has linked well with Palladino, played some nice one touch passes (one to Palla and the lay off for Nedved where he squared for Trezeguet), had a great run and looks capable of beating their defenders whenever he gets the ball into his feet.

dis will realli help.....a sudden outburst of emotion or energy can kick away the nervousness....i always does that in matches that im nervous at the start...i will let out a loud cry and start shouting at my opponents to get things going

Its good to see legro looking solid, he did well for us last year as well when he wasn't injured. That said its only half time so he needs to keep this performance up

You mean the one where the defender caught up to him because he wasn't fast enough?

That was his only mistake of the half imo. Look at what we've done so far. Our first chance was the Trezeguet shot which came about from a Del Piero dummy. Then we had the Palladino shot after Del Piero worked the ball wide to him. Then we had the Trezeguet chance when Del Piero chested the ball down for Nedved. And there's been two or three times when DP has turned his marker and created space.

I really can't believe people are criticizing him after this performance. I guess he's going to have to score to please everyone.

I think that Chiellini needs to move to a wider (left back!) position. It would help our attack on the left loads.
