Well... the home game against Parma was the worst bias in our favor on the season.

Generally it was rather refreshing that very, very few opponent fans ascribed our success to referee bias this time around. I suppose we have to win with major margins to be spared all the whining.

Aca: On one hand I understand your argument, but it was never really much of an advantage for Juve to know the result of the Lazio game when you played at home against totally inferior opposition with nothing to play for... you know ;) ?

Going by your line of thought there would have been no conditions that could have been enough to post pone the Juve game. We all saw Collina try and bounce the ball when the teams returned to the pitch. That's one of the rules. That the pitch is in such a condition that the ball can bounce. It was almost sucked into the ground.... Del Piero and Conte were there and both argued with Collina saying that he couldn't be serious. Yet he was. It doesn't change that we should have found a result somehow, but it most definately weren't a 'regular' game.

Then of course... you could find examples of some other of Juve's games that weren't regular either that season... Cannavaro and that. I'm not at all sore about not wining that scudetto anymore. It only explains part of the reason why Juve fans would prefer if Collina wasn't refereeing us too often.

Well, it was his judgement. ;)

I wont go into merits of ball bouncing or not. Bottom line is that it was up to him to decide what is "bouncing" what not ;)

Now, maybe it did not favour you (although your inferior competitor played on the exactly the same field like you did), but you have to accept his decision, like Parma had to do (cannavaro and DP's Volleyball carrier and so on).

They say that if every Formula 1 race takes place in the rain, Schumaher will be undisputed champion year after year. I guess it is opposite for Juve:D Maybe ferrari could make new boots for you or something....? Made of tyres they use.....?:D

I know, i know.....:D

But football is supposed to be played under regular conditions. Under the rain, the less technical is obivouly more advantaged.

That match was a farse, cos according to rule, you cannot wait longer than 30 mins to decide, and if I'm not wrong, it took him over an hour to decide to play the match.

Said that, Juve were like Inter were a year ago, a burst balloon that did not have any air to stay up, so probably Lazio would have still topped us at the end of the day.

Nina there were incidents in our favour and also against us (and not just the Chievo one ;)). If you want I can name them all :D

Ok Nina ;)

Gianluca Paparesta -

Bologna 2 - 2 Juventus

IN FAVOUR: The ref gave us 6 minutes of injury time which helped us to draw level ;) It's arguable that there were the 6 minutes, however Juve seems to be given alot of injury time minutes when they're drawing or losing ;) I'm not implying anything btw :)
Paolo Bertini -

Juventus 2 - 2 Roma

IN FAVOUR: Nedved's goal started from a throw-in that was in favour for Roma, but only the ref thought otherwise.

Juventus 1 - 1 Como

AGAINST US: Como's goal came from an offside position.

Pierluigi Collina -

Juventus 0 - 0 Lazio

IN FAVOUR: Actually this was Lazio-Juve not the other way round. Anyway, Lazio did get a penalty in their favour, but could have easily be given 2 other semi-clear penalties.
Emilio Pellegrino -

Juventus 2 - 1 Roma

IN FACOUR: Nedved's penalty wasn't but we could only say it wasn't from the slow replay cos during normal play it really looked like a penalty.
Emidio Morganti -

Juventus 3 - 0 Modena

IN FAVOUR: Even though the margin was large, when the score was still 0-0, Modena had a goal ruled out on offside which wasn't. Again, during normal it did seem an offside, but only during a slow replay we could notice that there was no offside.
Marco Gabriele -

Juventus 1 - 0 Empoli

IN FAVOUR: The penalty that won us the game was no penalty.
Chievo 1 - 4 Juventus

IN FAVOUR: As I said before, this was only half a favour as the fog was there for both teams.

Stefano Cassara -

Juventus 2 - 2 Parma

IN FAVOUR: Well we all know how it went this one, but I don't blame the ref cos I had not noticed the incident before the replay.
All teams get favours during a season and they all compensate each other. I'm sure we could all draw a list for Milan and Inter too.

That's true. Of course, everyone says that Juev get so many favours from referees, but that's because we're so succesful and everyone wants to undermine our efforts by saying we get help from referees. I'm sure other big clubs get favours too.
