Interesting perspective and if we consider Milan's financial crisis
and Mourinho's hate for vedettas. We really do have realistic chances to dominate such lists fo rthe next years!!!
But thats only just one side of reality.
This could hardly mean that we are the most wanted transfer destination.
Inter can promise domestic and european titles. And Milan can offer better salaries (or at least used to be), increased prestige (for many reasons) and a more attractive permanent residence (Milano).
But atm, we are promising as never before! New ambitious players can come here and make history! In Milan for ex, if Melo wins the championship for them, he wont really be him, ppl will say it was Pirlo or even Ronaldinho.
But if we win the championship now, Sissoko and Amauri can really be proud of it!! There are more things to consider who the most favorite transfer destination really is! Most of the players for for the money (wealthy owners like Morratti) and the glory (great chances to win titles)
Atm we are not top competitors where it matters the most and for the years to come nothing seems able to change that...
As we dont seem likely to change hands (ownership) or win any titles.
But we can offer some top serie A flight and some CL glory,
but our greatest asset still remains, IMO, our history, even if it is disgraced...
It still keeps us in front of clubs like Fiorentina and Roma, at least for the moment.
If we keep on like for a decade or so, it will be ancient history (we already have years without titles and in a decade, there wont be any champions left in us)
Nobody would care if we used to be mighty champions once...
So we will become a less attractive destination for champions and the players who aspire to be champions, they will consider us, just a step of their ascending carrier...
