Massimo Brombati, a character very known in the world of the Italian foot, which operates like agent but also as an emissary of the Old Lady, released a true bomb by conceding yesterday, after Bianconeri finalized their rise: “I am sure and certain that Juve will be put on sale soon. Neither Lapo, nor John Elkann (photo) have really enthusiasm to continue to direct this club. I know it owing to the fact that the departure of Buffon with Inter will lead president Giovani Cobolli Gigli to resign”

Juventus bombshell: Summer sale on cards
tribalfooball.com - May 20, 2007

Massimo Brambati, the high-profile Italian agent, has revealed Juventus could be sold BEFORE they return to Serie A next season.
Brambati, who has close ties to Juve and worked for the club as a scout, admitted last night: "I am sure that Juventus are about to be put up for sale.

"Neither (Agnelli powerbrokers) Lapo, nor John Elkann, have the enthusiasm to maintain their commitment to the club and managing it."

He also revealed: "I know for a fact that should Juve be forced to sell Gigi Buffon to Inter Milan, then (president Giovanni) Cobolli Gigli would resign."

I know its TRIBALFOOTBALL.COM

Well , how could cobolli stay as a president if buffon is sold. I mean He was all the way emphisizing that buffon is not for sale. It will very difficult to accept.
As for some russian buying juventus I don't want us to end like chelsea.

Juventus ending like Chelsea will be a historical howler; losing identity.

^ That's what I'm thinking. the ONLY good thing about this could possibly be better financial backing.
It could also be a bad thing, look at Inter with Moratti's millions and what it took to win a Scudetto.

Juventus ending like Chelsea will be a historical howler; losing identity.

Well Chelsea never really had ANY real history, before Abramovic they had only won 1 championship I believe. They are only a big club in terms of finance and certainly not support etc.

Chelsea are owned by a Russian and having only two English players in the starting eleven. I know that their history can't be compared to Juve's, that's why I believe that losing identity will be applied more to Juventus, if it'd be sold.

That What I'm fearing the most. Chelsea now is just like a multinational company without identity. Juventus has a lot to care for. I hope this is not true coz it's getting worse and worse. I'm expecting a quick reaction from the family hopefully :faq1:
