Summer has come and the Juventus Summer Camp is ready to open its doors. Just one month before the official opening, the project has reached more than 2,000 adhesions! This is certainly due to the overall enthusiasm for the team’s results, but especially to the hard work that since 2004 has allowed the Juventus Summer Camp project to make its name in the domain of sport holidays. The project is ready to overcome again its registration record: it will be a wonderful black & white summer for more than 2,000 lads who will have the chance to choose their destination among four locations in Italy and one in England in order to spend their holidays between football and fun!
Juventus Summer Camps address young boys and girls (the latter just in the camp in Cascia) from 8 to 16 years old (10-17 for the English Football Camp) who want to improve their way of playing and have fun along with new friends from all around the world. Football courses are held by a team comprised of qualified coaches, with a degree at SUISM [Faculty of Motor Sciences] and/or permitted by FIGC [Italian Football Federation], specifically educated at Juventus University. In recent years, Juventus made their name thanks to the high quality of the services provided, just starting from the attention devoted to the development of sport and non-sport programs up to the careful selection of locations and facilities. And season after season, this success has been confirmed by increasing numbers of participants.
Locations for Juventus Summer Camp 2012
Vinovo - TO. This wonderful experience at the core of the Bianconeri’s club will be proposed for the third consecutive year. Juventus will open the doors of their modern training centre to allow all youngsters to live a unique experience and train themselves in the same location where all the champions belonging to the First Team and to the Young Sector usually train.
Sestriere - TO. This new location (along with Cascia) is a popular destination at international level and the theatre of several great sport events. In Sestriere you can find high quality facilities, including 2 regular football pitches which also hosted the Azzurri before the last World Cup Championship in South Africa. The lads who will participate in Juventus Summer Camp 2012 will be accommodated at the prestigious Grand Hotel Sestriere.
Roncegno Terme - TN. Roncegno Terme is a wonderful place in Trentino and will be involved in the Juventus Summer Camp project for the eight consecutive year. This small town stands in the heart of Valsugana, in a spectacular Alpine scenery, just 25 km far from Trento and 96 km far from Padua. It’s a small centre immersed in woods, where all the lads can breathe fresh air while enjoying large spaces and clear streams.
Cascia - PG. This charming town in Umbria is the second novelty of this season. It’s certainly one of the most important centres in Middle Italy, as well as one of the main touristic destinations of this region. It’s a magic medieval village standing 653 m over the seas level, where people can enjoy magnificent landscapes and ancient monuments. The hotel in Cascia which will host the lads for their camp experience is the Grand Hotel Elite.
Horsham – UK. Also this year, the adventure of Juventus Soccer Schools beyond the English Channel continues, in particular in the wonderful College in Horsham, London, Sussex. In addition to the football course, all lads will have the chance to take advantage of some English lessons in order to give their holidays a special accent.
