A few hours before Juventus v Udinese, the snow started to fall on Turin and all precautionary bad-weather measures have been taken at the Juventus stadium.
The pitch has been covered with a suitable tarpaulin and warmed by means of 27 km of heating coils placed under the turfs, therefore the snow can’t settle. The field will be uncovered just before the kick off in order to allow the lines to be drawn before both teams’ warm-up.
Large amounts of salt have been spread in the parking areas of the stadium, whilst a specific antifreeze fluid is being used in the inner areas of the facility, along suitable walking passageways provided to allow the public to access the stadium.
The snowfall is constantly monitored and at present the situation is under control.
