Despite being on the market, Vincenzo Iaquinta and Amauri retain numbers #9 and #11 respectively.

It just shows how unimportant numbers have become, because big players choose their favourites. At least we don't do that 55 and 99 bollocks.

A jersey with Vidal and nr 7 for example would sell more than Vidal with nr 22. The classic numbers usually sell good its just a shame that they're wasting them on Amauri, Iaquinta and Pepe. Terrible marketing.

Seems an odd thing to say, do you have proof for this? When I bought Diego's shirt :)D) I didn't for one minute think that I wouldn't buy it because it was number 28, and I wouldn't for our number 18, 21, 22, 27 or 32 either.

Big deal. Players' numbers don't mean shit. They won't affect their performances on the pitch, which is the most important thing after all.
