many thanks for the links, Jay...You keep a steady eye on the little ones??? I know little of his talent, but as for physical maturity, Libertazzi already looks more than capable of mixing it with the adults...what si your view on him??? as in is he decent? and what are his chances of getting a chance in the first team squad??? I know of boniperti and giannetti, and also buchel...as having cameos for the first team, but who else??? surely we have some youngsters who have enough potential to move up???

Strange watching the kids...the offensive play seems slick enough, and the defending, for both teams, is shocking...i enjoyed libertazzi's goal...lovely through chipped through ball, deft touch to bring it down and a clever finish with little time to play with...

He's important for both the Primavera and Italy at youth level, one of our better prospects. He was promoted to the Primavera when he was 17, a couple of years ahead of usual. He's an all round sort of striker, mobile, decent technically and pretty strong physically. Scoring goals at Primavera level only means so much, obviously most don't make it.

A lot of of players are based more on technique now rather than physique, so it's quite ironic and maybe predictable that Delneri most uses Sorensen and Giandonato in the first team :D It's always easier for physical players to make more of an instant impact at full level, but I think there will be a chance for Boniperti, De Silvestro and Ferrero at some point soon. The others it's impossible to tell, there are also a fair few foreign kids coming in who'll push for places.

Jay...does the primavera play in the same formation as Del Neri generally deploys for the first team (up until recently)...? To ready the kids in case of their need to cover injuries or suspensions with the first team, and also, to make their transition to the first team easier?

4-4-2 and 4-3-3, sometimes Bucaro goes with Giannetti and Libertazzi or otherwise with Boniperti and De Silvestro/Belcastro off one, I prefer the latter.

have you seen enough to judge the players paratici brought in last summer, Jay? Camilleri, Ilari...Sorensen we all know has been a brilliant find...who else did we bring in last summer and since then??? has that romanian giant kid keeper arrived yet and been playing??? Cheers for your useful posts on the primavera...

I haven't seen many live matches this season, they are usually playing when I am at work, I can't always get away with a silent stream :D They always compete and more often than not are the better team but it's tough to say who can progress. Guys like Daud and Esposito absolutely tore it up but they are nowhere now. I personally like Boniperti, De Silvestro, Camilleri and Libertazzi. In fact I'm pretty sure Camilleri will have a good career. I don't think Branescu is with the squad until next season. If you see from the lineups posted, Costantino is in goal. He's a good keeper as well, but until you see them against experienced players it's a lot of guessing.
