Let’s face it, we’re never gonna be as rich as the Premier League clubs. Especially the ones who were already drowning in cash before they bent over for oil money. That’s not who we are. That’s not what Juventus is. Our greatest asset isn’t in the bank it’s in our goddamn DNA. Our history, our culture. Things you can't buy.
And while we’re at it, let me remind everyone: no club on Earth has legends like we do. Del Piero, Buffon, Nedvěd, Camoranesi, Marchisio, Chiellini, Barzagli, these guys are not just players. They’re gladiators. They went from a World Cup championship to Serie B, then climbed back with the same shirt, same badge, to a Champions League final, a Euro win, and 9 straight Scudetti.
Find me any other club whose players have walked through that much fire and came back holding silverware. You won’t. You can talk about "mes que un club" all you want Barça's boys wouldn’t last five minutes in the trenches these guys went through.
So why the hell aren’t we using them? A club with that kind of legacy should be doing everything to integrate these legends into our future. I don’t care what it costs, these guys should be mentoring the U23s, shaping the next generation, and building the technical foundation of the first team. Not sitting on the sidelines while we burn money on half-baked projects on Douglas Luiz or insert-any-giuntoli-flop-here.
And let’s not kid ourselves Juve actually has and will always have amazing resources. The U23 team is a brilliant idea that still hasn’t hit full potential. And if FIGC rules are blocking us from maximizing it, then screw it, buy a club. Instead of tossing 75 million at Vlahović and God-knows-how-much in wages, throw that money at Buffon and Del Piero's pocket, let them buy a team like Siena (only giving that example because same colors, almost the same badge), and turn it into a breeding ground for future Juventus talent. It’s not rocket science.
But no. Instead, we’ve got Elkann, a rich, talented corporate guy playing Football Manager 2025 with zero clue what this club really means. The guy saved the Agnelli Empire from a total collapse, fine. But he’s not saving Juventus. Not Scuderia Ferrari either. He's just watching greatness rot while pretending he gives a shit on sports.
Truth is, this squad isn't even bad. Say what you want but it’s young, hungry, and with a real coach, could easily win this low-quality Serie A. But with Elkann pulling the strings? We’ll be lucky to finish 4th again. Just like Ferrari; same script, same wasted potential. So no, we don’t need Elkann to “understand” Juventus. We need him to get the hell out of the way. Hand the club over to people who lived and bled for it. People who built their entire careers on loyalty, grit, and black-and-white pride.
Because we already have the heroes. Now let’s stop wasting them. Let them find the next generation of warriors...
