Agnelli at the shareholders meeting talked about the U23.

“Director Manna and coach Zauli are perfectly in sync with the first squad, and after 4 years we’re beginning to see the results of having this squad. Frabotta, Dragusin and Fagioli, after a year with the first team, now away on loan and hopefully to return and to find a place in the first squad. The selection of Soule this year in the Argentinian team is another element and something extremely positive about this project”.

Literally translating is difficult but this is basically what he said.

Hopefully this is the start of somewhat regular playing time. He’s been playing RB so if he can show versatility, that’ll help his odds of getting minutes. He’s still only 19 so even if he wastes a year he’ll have time on his side. But if he does get that playing time, then he could actually factor into next seasons squad. I’d trust him over Rugani right now.

Dragusin is HG aswel. So either in 22/23 or 23/24 he has to return. Chiellini will stop and Ruga hasnt played a single minute so far. Ill try to rewatch at least 45m of the match against Atalanta.

Ideally he'd return when Chiellini retires, hopefully he will get playing time and develop by then, so he can start climbing in the pecking order:

21/22:
1. Bonucci
2. De Ligt
3. Chiellini
4. Rugani

22/23:
1. De Ligt
2. Bonucci
3. New CB (Romagnoli?)
4. Chiellini retirement season

23/24:
1. De Ligt
2. New CB
3. Bonucci
4. Dragusin

24/25:
1. De Ligt
2. New CB
3. Dragusin
4. Bonucci (if he isn't retired)
