Soule will probably stay instead of going on loan to Serie B.

Another pawn or some 1st team potential here?
Ive seen him playing between 3 and ~5 times for Italy U17, but he mostly come off the bench and I remember not being very impressed. Don’t have a specific memory of something he did or some outstanding qualities, so I’d be surprised if he reaches the first team. In his defense it’s sometimes a good indication of a player went trough every national youth team, as there are so many young players available to steal your place. But given he signed a 2 year contract I think he will merely play for the U23

We signed him from Fiorentina. Spent last year on loan at Grosseto in C where he played most of the games aged 18/19.

Mostly played as mezzala but occasionally in front of a three.

Will Ranocchia qualify as home grown?
I think yes, correct information is somewhere in this thread. Think that @s4tch solved that puzzle before.

I found it. It was JuveJay. Really a pleasure scrolling trough this thread, the most spoken player, the undeniable talent, is Brighenti. What a honour seeing his insane qualities yesterday against Monza, it will be a matter of time before we'll see a 'When football becomes Art' video on Youtube.

Using Filippo Ranocchia as an example:

Signed with us on 30/01/2019 - he was aged 17 years, 8 months and 16 days old. So he will have been trained at Juve for 3 years on 30/01/2022, and in theory could be included in the CL squad as a HGC player at the earliest for the second part of the 2021/22 season.

I'm also pretty sure they have to serve all that time at the club, so sending them on loan doesn't count towards your club. Therefore the best system for us would be to sign 18 years old (max) and they have 1-2 seasons in Primavera and 1-2 seasons in U23.

Of course, he can currently be part of the CL squad without being registered anyway because he is under 20 years
