Decent half after a slow start.

I like the free roles that Koop and Wes seem to have in front of Loca, one is more frenetic than the other but Wes seems to float around and get into good areas. Koop really impresses at times.

Nico has done some things well and some things poorly, he's not as game ready as other players.

We seem happy to give up width for Bakayoko but he is very one footed. Defence holding up ok at times. Bremer could do with the coach who taught Chiellini how to be a fairly proficient passer.

First half: We created well and could have finished the game already.
Cambiasso let a ball move near him instead of putting a tackle. Apart for this - We are doing very well.

Koop unlucky

Really good first half, can't remember the last time we played this good in the first match. A renewed sense of enthusiasm is refreshing. In CL you get that space and that's nice to see. Also pleased Nico was given onside, had he played that ball in the league the serie A officials would've ruled that out.

lol, that was more a clash wkth some fans who always see the positives but rarely the negatives, with Kalulu being among the examples…

Always rated him as a solid defender, it’s the injuries of last season that were a question mark, and still are unless you believe the season starts and ends after two games in September.

I'm just saying he is a quality defender, we shouldn't forget they are footballers first and foremost and he shown quality like this before injury. It's easy to be glass half empty in middle of frenzy of panicked transfer window week, or get lost in doctor notes and injury history.

But tagged you not for a gotcha moment, but more just a reminder that we should wait and just let players show case their worth on the pitch first and foremost. Even if it's early, he is a quality defender.

If he remains healthy we will sign him, if he doesn't we will give him back. Hope for the former. But either way he is showing his worth big time in his first 2 starts.

All jokes aside, Motta has done wonders with this team in a very short time. Kudos.

not complaining at all, just saying that there's plenty of work to be done. it's still a work in progress. at least we have quality in the attacking 3rd we lacked last season. nico and koop aren't bad players, and yildiz also matured, it looks like he can cope with the pressure

Giorgio was truly an underrated passer. I think Bremer would easily be top 3 defenders in the world if he improves his passing range for sure.

We're almost handicapped with Vlahovic honestly... Motta needs to figure out how he can use Vlahovic but there is just a lot of deficiencies in his play that doesn't help his case... Imagine if we had someone who's imposing in terms of hold-up play or someone who has decent control and passing...

Zirkzee is starting games lately, but if Hojlund comes back and benches him, we should check with Man U if we can loan Zirkzee in January lol

Really good half, I like the players interchanging of positions.

We started very slowly and seemed to struggle to get the ball down. Then Yildiz started paying more centrally and it made a huge difference, he has been brilliant. Locatelli is like a new player this season.

Koop has done well and unlucky not to score and have an assist with McKennie. McKennie seems to be playing off Vlahovic which plays to his strengths of finding space and avoids relying on him to build up. I've really liked Kalulu so far.

Gonzalez has been mixed, some nice plays and some terrible ones.

Truth is that the deal is structured well enough for it to be worth the gamble, time will tell if it’s also going to work out, only downside of everything was that we were linked with a major upgrade at CB and then went for a last resort solution, which might’ve influenced how people have reacted to the links with him.

I think this will be the topic of the season. Yildiz is clearly a trequartista/CAM

Did they? I don't think I remember Di Gregorio having to make a single save.

We’ve started poorly in all our games so far. It’s a big area for improvement.
