Chiesa sucks, the team is dead and there is absolutely no logical explanation as to why De Sciglio sneaked his way to the starting lineup after an eight month injury.
Conclusion after this 1st half is that hopefully the worst has passed already and maybe we will see in the 2nd half more of what we’ve seen from the 40min onwards when Lazio seemed gassed out, a draw still seems the best possible outcome for us from the way it’s been going so far.
The lineup suggests that Allegri worked hard with some of the guys that stayed in Turin during the int break. The performance suggests it was probably basketball drills.
The players are playing like a bunch of strangers. The system seems completely unsuited to playing Lazio who play wide. A weird game to ditch the 3-5-2.
De Sciglio expectedly dreadful. Locatelli woeful until the last 10 mins where suddenly he managed to play some nice passes instead of to the running track. Cambiaso terrible too. I can't work out Miretti he gets in good positions but I'm not sure whether he just doesn't have any vision to spot passes quickly or he sees it and doesn't have the ability to release a pass quickly.
We've been lucky Immobile didn't have those chances their striker missed.
