It's the same shit we've had for years now too many midfielders who can't play with the ball. The sort of line up you expect from a massive underdog away from home.

Tbf we were supposed to have a Pogba right now instead of two inept passers
I dont get that Allegri cant see that mckennie + zakaria dont work. He has Fagiolo on the bench who is much better on the ball.

Danilo has spent more time in the opposing half this game than his entire Juve career. Not sure what to make of that.

Tough half at the start but ended well and should be more than 2-0 up.

Allegri made a tactical change in the water break which changed the game for us.He put Locatelli as the deep lying mid instead of Zakaria and went more 4-3-3. It made a huge difference because we were struggling.

Bremer has been superb, looks very comfortable. Alex Sandro surprisingly good.

Vlahovic needed that goal but did really well to get the penalty and if our passing was better he could have been played in a few times when he's made good runs.
In general Vlahovic lacked sharpness imo, but good that he scored

Different team in both phases since the switch to 433. 442 hybrid is just awful for everything but giving Di Maria a breather defensively. But fuck it, that's why you have 5 subs and new wingers in the team. Let him run it out for 60 then sub out.

Referee is awful. A foul is not a foul, a clean tackle is a foul. Doesn't whistle a foul on Bremer, then books the Sassuolo player. Clear penalty on Sandro etc.

Can't keep the ball with these two b2b mids, they're too deep, they don't have solutions in their brain to find passing lanes. Use their athleticism to press Sassuolo higher, win the ball higher, then go back if they beat the press.

Sandro great, Vlahović underwhelming despite the goal although some passes were too late.

Di Maria is class, nothing new.

Danilo was excellent, got forward more tonight than the entire last season.

This is the perfect reason to try the youngster.

Okay fair enough it can possibly fail but there is huge upside whereas you know exactly what you're going to get with these two and their best will never be good enough especially with both playing at the same time

I guess that I wasn't paying too much attention to Locatelli that half bc when I did, I thought he showed a lot of poise and control on the ball

I would like to see 2 subs in the MF for Zac and McKennie in about 10 minutes

What does Zakaria add to the team? Hopefully he gets replaced by Fagioli in the second half.

Alex Sandro been pretty good, he must be hearing rumours about a new LB?

We too slow on our passing though
Depressing indeed that it just continues to start the year.

Sass mid >>> Juve mid so far! Mids area were Cuads left, McKenn LC, Loca RC, and Zara right side. Just appears like horrible positioning by the group as whole. All over the place.

I know Max loves for playing deep D letting the opponent control possession but continue that and one of those long shots will beat Perin.

If Sandro can continue this play (probably unlikely?) LB won't be as much of a concern. Can he trusted with no brainfarts though. Bernardi didn't do a lot.
