The biggest problem is psychological. They just cannot withhold any kind pressure or bad period. As soon as one guy starts making mistakes everyone else follows and the whole concept falls apart.

They didn't sit back after the goal, still pressing high, but once they started making mistakes in simple passes fear just creeps in.

Cuadrado shite once again, Miretti shitting bricks again other than 1-2 moments, McK passing around like a blind man and Vlahović is a complete and utter disaster. Even during the best period he couldn't hold up one ball. Milik is teaching him football out there. You don't have to score 50 goals with lack of service in the box dude but at least start playing football instead of this Amauri stile

Danilo is phenomenal. The leadership, character, bravery. True heir to Chiellini

Paredes great also, Kostić did well, Leo and Bremer too.

Hopefully Di Maria has something in the tank

Is it just me or does it feel like Paredes is better than everyone else in our squad? Calm on the ball, always looking for opportunities to play sharp passes, good vision, makes right decisions.
Paredes is miles ahead of the rest of our players for sure. He allows us to actually string a few attacks together.

Agreed. We melt down with a tiny bit of pressure.

oh and that penalty was really dumb on Miretti, might as well just let the ball go out rather than sticking your foot like that in the box when you can see someone running towards it the benfica player was going nowhere..
I think either both or one of Miretti and Cuads should come off for DiMaria
