We need upgrades on Morata (wasteful) and Rabiot (useless body). These two changes would help to retain possession, as usual the team looks like headless chickens which should happen against Villarreal, let's be honest.

They are a good side but they were hardly threatening in the first half, unless our own mistakes (Danilo - Lo Celso for example).

I remember one match between 2008-2010.. We had a PK, and if scored, it will be our 100 - or 200 CL goals..
Our regulat spot takers were off/injured etc..
And a very young player.. with excellent spot/FK kicks record, missed it..
It was Giovinco.. somehow on that day,, i understood that he won't be anything speacial although i kept hoping he will.

Similar to Torino game. Considering all the problems it is not bad. We're attacking in intervals but there is no calmness, patience and bravery to play that key pass. Let's see how they react when Villarreal goes more aggressive in the second half.

Few attacks we passed it around we managed to create some half-chances, but there is still to much hoofing it forward when not necessary. If it was at least somewhere near DV, but it's a different stratosphere, he cannot chase it all the time. Fantastic finish from him

Because we have no need to chase the game and they have created little. There is no need to risk speeding up the game, leaving gaps and getting the crowd more intense.

I think the game plan is good, take the sting out of the game and we look dangerous on the counter.
