Did the deep line help Alex Sandro on their goal? It hurt him actually because his defensive action was already near the 6 yard box. That seems even more dangerous to me.
That’s what I’m saying Sandro is not a player for a top club same like some other players in the team. Deep line compensates for the non existing speed of our defenders.

let’s be real, our defense is made of one RW acting like he’s RB, one Serie B defender Rugani, one retired lolzilian and just one, ONE CB.

If your defence is shit then you have to win the ball with the players in front, so you have to press higher. If you put the line in your own box then you are relying on incredible defending, of which we clearly don't have. It seems obvious to me.
