We've looked solid but have really only created from their mistakes. Berna falso Nueve has worked well in the sense thst they don't seem to know how to deal with not having a reference point
Defensively so very tight. Looking like an Allegri team when we’re behing the ball.
Offensively we were surprisingly good. If it wasnt for Rabiot we’d have 3 good chances and perhaps a goal. Overall I think we were the better side in the first half.
Slow start to the game, we looked off the pace for the first 10. After that it’s settled nicely and we’ve been solid, looking dangerous when we break with pace.
Not the dominant performance we want to see but the solid organised performance that we need to see
We didn't look like conceding, held our shape well which was refreshing to see. Especially since we are practically playing without a LM. But who knows how we'll show up in the second half.
So overall, not too bad. Chelsea can clearly be made vulnerable, and I'm sure that Allegri will know just how to attack them in those moments. However, my concern will be whether the players can actually take advantage of it.
