To be fair I wanted him to start purely because how poor Rabiot and Bentancur have been, was worth a try. Bizarrely Bentancur has been very good but we all know he won't keep it up.

Pretty poor half.

Bentancur has been surprisingly really good, strangely he seems to play well against Udinese. Dybala and Cuadrado good too.

Kulu and McKennie need to do more. Kean did well on the goal but needs to get more involved too.

Arthur poor again, he's been incredibly lucky on 2 occasions where he has misjudged the flight of the ball and let it bounce with an Udinese player behind him but fortunately the ball has bounced well for him. Also looks like he could get a red.

5 tackles, 3 interceptions and 2 clearances in the first half only. Those are terrific stats. But we're not taking advantage of the many won balls in midfield.
Kulusevski in particular has been bad.

I think the worst player in the first half was Kulu. I saw nothing from him worth mentioning. Even Kean was more useful.
