Just saw the thread today and some of the comments on Osaze Peter Odemwingie are interesting to say the least. I think I know enough of Osaze to talk about him and his suitability or otherwise for Juve.

He wasn't scoring that many goals when he was in Belgium cos he was a midfielder then. It's only on his joining Lille that he was converted to a striker, hence the seeming "explosion". He's a quick and intelligent footballer who can shoot well with either foot and he is quite good in the air too. As a midfielder, his passing (long and short) is excellent and he's got vision to go with it as well.

The problem I have with his joining Juve is his physique, as those who have seen him know, he's slim and almost light-weight. I hope he'll be able to cope with the physical nature of the game in Italy. But then, Inzaghi is no muscleman, is he?

I agree with everyone who says we need reinforcements in midfield and defence more than in attack. The thought of Boumsong playing for us in Serie A or Europe is making my stomach turn already. But then, a team challenging for top honours like we'll be again from next season, needs at least four good strikers on it's roster. Maybe Osaze Peter Odemwingie might not be a bad signing for us in the end, if he can come to terms with Italian football that is.

Interesting avatar, is that your work?
    Thanx for the compliments.

My work as in graphic art design? No it isn't.

I'll send you a PM with the details of what I do. About the avatar, I just wanted to create and use somthing that would profess my love for the club and my country. So I thought, integrate the Juve crest into the Nat'l flag, besides it shows how great a club Juve is attracting fans from allover the world. :)
