thats the game of deflection. it goes both ways in terms of helping/hurting our cause. in one way it keeps other clubs baffled on what or who we are truly targeting but then again it also leaves doubt in our targets mind and club that we really are not set on acquiring this player so they look to other clubs to satisfy the deal. general managing is a bitch in the sports world.

Gallas can play left back, but he bitches about it if played there regularly.
...and isn't that effective at LB either....i remember he was RB at Marseille and occasionally played there for Chelsea...versatile and rock solid i would much rather sign him than Ivanovic, Gilberto etc...

na ahmed, i'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. gallas is a proven player that is an intimidator at the back and can strengthen our def considerably more than ivanovic IMO.

100% puro

versatility is something we really need especially in our silk sheet of our defense. lets get off barzagli's balls and be real about this. gallas is a really good player and he can only make us better if he were to come to juve.

Totally true, I've said the same about Carvalho in another thread. For all I'd love to see Barzagli in our shirt, Gallas is already the player we'd be hoping one of our youngsters could develop into. We all want to win now, so clearly an established, international class defender - as Gallas & Carvalho clearly are - is the best option, rather than take a chance on Baragli or Ivanovic.

AC MILAN, At January arrives Gallas?

Urgent Football market in Milan house: Adriano Galliani would have detected in Arsenal french central defender,, the ideal reinforcement to engage for improve Milan situation in championship. Together to Gallas, another Gunners player would like so much to rossonero management: the brazilian Gilberto Silva (31), who has problems with Wenger after the rejection to play a competition of Curling Cup against Sheffield. Gallas would arrive directly to January, while for Silva all postponed to June.

Gallas would be such a good signing. He is so damn good and versatile. But I don´t know what are our chances in getting this playa.

After being made captain, 2 inspiring performances against Man Utd and Liverpool,Endearing himself to the fans and Wenger convincing him you can win trophies with "kids"..i'd say virtually none!
