@bister - Welcome! You are correct in that Juve has no problems travelling to Israel. I am surprised a bit by Bayern's position. Kind of ironic, as you mentioned with the Munich olympics, and also Munich being the city that launched Hitler. Interesting sub-plots all over.
@44bigbert - Apparently Juventus and Bayern have never met in official competition. Incredible given the pedigree of both.
@Andy - I don't think there are any easy groups anymore. The English clubs did seem to catch a break, but none of those minnows will actually be easy games.
Is anyone else in AWE at how lucky the English Teams got???
Manchester and Arsenal are in by far the easiest groups and the third easiest group is hands down Chelsea's group. Porto, their hardest competition is completely depleted after selling their best players and what many call the best coach in the world.
I just feel like Uefa did everything to help out the English teams and to knock off the Spanish and Italian teams early.
Anyone else feel the same way or am I completely out of line???

i understand your worries but, why when completely randomized things happen people assume its conspiracy?
i really doubt uefa has some plot against spain and italy :undecide:
as far as i know they dont just decide the groups, theyre randomly selected out of seeded groups arent they? coming from a juve fan i personally dont feel cheated at all. but of course your entitled to your own opinion
thx ...I'll wave a juventuz.com flag (if I would have one)
btw..juventus really has got a fantastic official page
Champions: Capello talks
About the Champions League round Fabio Capello said: “When we are in a round, usually, the more difficult match is the first one. We will begin with an away match in Netherlands. The Ajax is a strong team and the Dutch championship has already started. Also Bayern Monaco is a strong team. The Maccabi Tel Aviv is the less known to the public but is a good teem. These are all tough rival but we will be tough the same for them.”
