Somehow we always lose against manure, have we ever beaten them?
Yes, in the early days of the CL in the 90's we beat them a few times, including a 0-1 at Old Trafford I believe we were the first team to beat them at home in this comp.

Well, our group is tricky, could've been worse though.

Champions’ League draw
Thursday 26 August, 2004

The Champions’ League draw has taken place with all four Italian clubs being handed tough groups.

Italian champions Milan are in Group F along with Barcelona, Celtic and Shakthar Donetsk.

Roma will face the mighty Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Dinamo Kiev.

The draw has been unkind to Juventus after they were named in Group C with Bayern Munich, Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Inter arguably have the easiest out of all Italian clubs as they take on Claudio Ranieri’s Valencia, Anderlecht and Werder Bremen.

Group A
Dep Coruna
Liverpool
Monaco
Olympiakos

Group B
Real Madrid
Roma
Bayer Leverkusen
Dinamo Kiev

Group C

Juventus
Ajax
Maccabi Tel Aviv

Group D

Group E
Arsenal
Panathinaikos
PSV Eindhoven
Rosenborg

Group F

Predictions:

Juve 3 - 0 Maccabi Tel Aviv
Maccabi Tel Aviv 1 - 2 Juve
Ajax 2 -2 Juve
Juve 3 - 1 Ajax
Bayern 1 - 0 Juve
Juve 1 - 1 Bayern

11 Points should be enough to qualify.

Pretty well balanced group, I'm seeing Liverpool and Depor qualifying

group B:
1. Madrid
2. Roma
3. leverkusen
4. Dynao kyiv
Looks pretty strong, except for Dynamo Kiev who are nothing overly flash. Madrid and Roma are the likely choices to qualify

group D:
1. Man utd
2. Lyon
3. Sparta
4. Fenerbahce
On paper, Moneychester shouldn't have a problem getting through this group, I don't know that much about the other teams
++ [ originally posted by Ramin ] ++
group E:
1.Arsenal
2. Panathanikos
3.PSV
4. Rosenborg
Arsenal should breeze through, and I can see PSV getting past the Greeks; Rosenborg are good, but only in Norway :p

group F:
1. Barca
2. Milan
3. Celtic
4. Shaktar
This should be a mighty interesting group. Barca and Celtic speak for themselves, and Shaktar are no mugs either
++ [ originally posted by Ramin ] ++
group G:
1. Valencia
2. Inter
3. Anderleght
4. Bremen
Not much to say about this group, it's fairly balanced and all of the teams have a chance of making it through to the next phase, though I wouldn't put any money on Anderlecht

group H:
1.Porto
2. Chelsea
3. PSG
4. CSKA Moscow
Chelsea vs Porto should be an interesting one, Mourinho against his old club  Apart from Chelsea qualifying, I'm not gonna make any predictions for this group, i just get the feeling it's one of those groups where anything could happen.

I am sure we will go through! Bayern are not an unbeatable team. They only have Ballack and Makaay!
Ajax are weak away and Maccabi is IMO nothing!

I wish I had the same confidence as you guys; truth be told I don't really feel the same sense of security as I did a couple of seasons ago, even against supposedly weak opponents. I'll just wait and see what happens, and hope for the best

yes ajax maybe i can see that game LIVE :D

FORZA JUVENTUSSSSSSSSSSSs!!!!!!!!!

like neddy says: we can go alllll the way
You live in Belgium right? Do you know if there is such a thing as a fancard for the Champions League? Or could I watch Anderlecht without having a fancard? I guess seeing Juventus against Ajax shouldn't be a problem.
