No need for that. We played this game in our own way. We played it 7-8 times already and the rules were the same.
Now, our rules might not be the same as the "real mafia rules" Osman is talking about, but to us these rules make sense and we will continue playing our way, no matter what Osman says now (with all due respect to Os).
But.... I think Ze should stay alive. If jasper blazed you when he should have done it, there was enough time for people to change their votes. Imo, the majority would have changed to no lynch then because they really didn't have a suspect after you died and Ze was proven to be the detective.
So in any case, I think that you'd have been the only one killed today.

First, the detective doesnt blaze before the deadline, so I cant talk about a scenario for that when its the first time I heard of such an option tonight. Secondly, whats the point of blazing before the deadline before if you only get to find out after it? Then it would be a more stupid version of it is now. Because now ,you send order to blaze, and you and everyone else see after it if it was a G or C, like we do with the whack (not if its a C or G, but who gets whacked).
If you announce someone is blazed before the deadline, in the day, but dont say the role, then whats the point of announcing it? We would just wait for hours to find out which roles this blazed individual had (it wouldnt offer anything to the players or the game in general), hours the detective could have used trying to figure things out and reconsider his options.
In general it would interfere with the happens of the day. But when you announce it after the deadline, and say the role of the blazed individual. It doesnt inferfere with that days happenings, but its a factor and information to act on for next days stuff.
For example, if Sabet wasnt lynched, and she was civilian, we would all find out Ze is detective through this announcement (in this scenario he wouldnt have been up for lynch and need to announce it to save himself). Then it would be up to us, for the next day, to find ways to cover for the detective.
Jasper was postng from his blackberry hence all the slowness and confusing that resulted. You couldn't blame him. And again I repeat, Had he done the only thing in which he actually failed (talking about jasper) Tahir would have been saved by the Cs in the remaining 15 minutes so him being lynched is not a possibility IMO and he says that too. You being gun blazed and Tahir being saved by the Cs and then those Cs going for whoever they wanted lynched was what would have happened if everything went to plan but it doesn't, shit happens. Now you've to accept your death and Tahir's survival while the Cs should live by the fact that they had a lynchless night in which they could have got rid of another G.
Yes, thats the fundenmental part, nothing changes with when it happens, just like with investigation, the detective gets to find out after the deadline, the same with his gunblaze, he gets to find out who he blazed after the deadline. Nothing happens before the lynch.

Look i completely cocked this up today, iv never narrated before, but i am letting ze survive, i didnt read his email untill after 10 (especially as the voting should have ended at 9 today) and the guns blazing wouldnt have counted regardless.

No offense taken, but when was it decided, this rule of gunblazing happening in the day? And if this how you have played, why was Sabed gunblazed by M.G at night, after deadline? This was the only time it happend, gunblazing, so how is this how you keep playing? It sounds more like whim, to decide however one wants to play in different games, without consistency. You say the rules were the same, but why are you asking for the gunblaze to happen on the day, when it didnt last time?
The same with allowing the investigation 1 day early, 1 game it this mistake/missunderstanding that it happend, another time it didnt. You didnt make a mistake in not gunblazing before the deadline. So even if you had read it before the deadline, why were you suppose to think you are to have her gunblazed before the deadline? It doesnt say so in the "rules", and the only time someone was gunblazed before here in this forum, it happend after the deadline at night.

The civillians were furious at the loss of their precious islamic lawyer. But the Detective managed to get into his flat and read some of his notes, he got wind of something. 'Sabsab is a...gan' is what the page read.....thats all he needed. He went to the civilians forum wearing only a brown trenchcoat, sun glassed and a trillby hat. The civillian hearing what he had to say were red with vegance, they headed straight to her house to get their vengance. They found he dressing for tonights murder.

He was checking what is or isn't racist in various contexts on his laptop...when he felt a cold ring placed on his head. He knew what was about to happen, he closed his eyes and accepted his fate. When suddenly a shadowed figure entered the room and knocked the gun away, the masked assassin escaped and the bodyguard gave chase but lost in him in the now dark streets of juventus city.
Kyle has been saved by the bodyguard......for now
Btw, not really in the mood to "play". But I'm the jailer, I jailed Dru, and Ze, you can trust me if you like. The reason I'm saying this openly is because one of the people I said this to turned out to be a G (suprised as you are Hoori) in Sabet, so there is NO point hiding this, she is bound to have told her accomplice.
I have a funny way of picking Gs to tell this to, last time it was Hoori (Christina too I think way back) and Jasper I pmed as a jailer and they were both Gs.
If for some weird reason you dont believe me Ze, I have other people I pmed before jailing Dru, saying I would jail him. It doesnt mean they arent Gs too, but they can confirm it in this thread in case you dont.
