Juventus will conduct their pre-season in Val d’Aosta for the next three years, after an agreement was reached between the club and the region.
The deal, which expires at the end of the 2014/15 campaign, was completed in the presence of Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta and regional tourism director Aurelio Marguerettaz. Also in attendance were Bianconeri commercial director Francesco Calvo, regional president Augusto Rollandin and Councillor Alberto Zucci.
Antonio Conte’s men, along with the ever popular Summer Village, will be located in the Châtillon/Saint-Vincent district, and are scheduled to contest a friendly game during their stay in Val d’Aosta.
The tour signals a return ‘home’ after the Bianconeri used the region as their base for nine consecutive seasons, a successful period in the club’s history spanning from 1995 to 2003.
From there, the foundations were laid for unforgettable campaigns, bringing Intercontinental Cup, Champions League, European Super Cup, Italian Super Cup and Scudetto successes back to Turin.
