Juve, assalto a Gallas e Grygera (C.d.Sport)

Grygera didn't shine too much at Ajax. They played him everywhere on defense like Chelsea are doing with Gallas. I see Grygera more as a backup RB for now. Gallas will leave Chelsea ONLY if the other team plays him as CB.

Not sure if some remember but he was tipped to join juve before he joined Ajax. it was one of those, "this player is already at the club"..but he never joined.

he is a natural full back with the ability to play both sides.

Gallas is a defender who is needed for the future. All due respect to Thuram but i see he isnt the player he was a few seasons back and Gallas would be a very good replacement.

Grygera would be good to have at the club...with Balzaretti, Chiellini and of course Zambrotta, it does give the team versitility at full back.

It would give versatility at full back, but I have to agree with Bianconeri9; Grygera just isn't good enough.

Though I think Gallas isn't much more than backup material as well, I can't see him marshalling our defence in important matches.

Grygera has been good this season though, but he isn't Juve material by a long shot...we could just as well bring Legrottaglie or Tudor back if we need central defenders.

Oh, and although he can play there Grygera is absolute shit at right back, he's a central defender.

Juve certanly need additions on the RB and LB positions, especially when we know that Birindelli has left and Zebina is going to... Only we left is on the Blazaretti and Pessoto as a backups. Z

Zambrotta is excellent on either LB or RB and Chielline is getting better and better, but Juve need one or two more quality players. Hower I think Gygera is not that player. I heard for him before 2 seasons when he suppoesed to move to Juve but since than nothing.

And please don't bring Legrotaglie back at Juve!!!

Juve need young good players like Kompany and Lugano even Salgado would be good, i thin that Cappelo could rejuvenate him

I don't know why everyone thinks that Grygera is not good enough for Juve. He's certainly better than Birindelli, Zebina, Pessotto, or Balzaretti. He's an experienced player in the Champion's League as well as at the international level. I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Because he simply is not good enough. He isn't good enough a fullback for Ajax, he plays a central position as Mr.Gol pointed out. Besides that Ajax's defence isn't anything to be proud off. The three of Birindelli, Zebina and Pessotto have much more Champion's league experience than Grygera has. Not to mention more experience in Serie A, as well as already being at our club.

Well he is an upgrade to those 3 and you cannot deny that. Pessotto and Biri cant do it anymore theyre far to hold as you could see in the coppa italia when Juve faced Roma and Mancini absolutely dangled Pessotto. Maybe Zebina, but not even he can defend. Juve has been known to make average players a whole lot better, and thats exactly what they will do with this defender. Peace.
