Hmm, Fiore in central midfield with Emerson? Not sure, however I really do not think he's solid enough to play in the center with Juventus. Fiore lacks pace and is not very good in the tackle, so I doubt Capello would use him there. The only role I see Fiore taking at Juve is an understudy to Camoranesi or Nedved. Fiore better not be Moggi's idea of a replacement for Nedved..

What? You're saying that Juve cannot play 442 Diamond formation with one playmaker in the middle?

No, I'm not saying that at all. If anything I'm saying Capello will not use a diamond in the midfield because if he wanted to he would have tried it already. Personally I like the diamond but I doubt Capello will use it.

Actually all I was saying is that I'm not sure if Fiore would be any good playing next to Emerson in a straight 4 midfield.

Rosicky would fit the bill IMO. He's young but already has experience in Europe and is a regular for his country. He would be an excellent partner for Emerson and could be signed for much less than his worth because of Dortmund's financial situation.
yeah he does...as did Deco last summer. But Riquelme and Aimar are at a good age now and have been in europe for a few seasons now also. the only thing is that rosicky, aimar and riquelme dont cost a cheap 3 mill.

Capello says there are no untouchables at Juve, but for me they are: Buffon, Zambrotta, Cannavaro, Thuram, Nedved, Zlatan, Camoranesi, Emerson

He may have said that but we all know that he has one such player: Emerson;)

IMO Fiore can be a good defensive midfield.. plus he is versatile..can start a game as a def mid and end it as an attacking one... he played def mid when he was at Udinese and i was impressed..

I never said he should replace Camoranesi, Fiore would add some much need quality in depth though.

What do you children think of Quaresma?
He's a good player, but i dont think he would suit Juve. He's playing style is so similar to C.Ronaldo. Imo Diego would be a better chioce.

I'd go for him if the price tag isn't too high.3 m Euros is fine.He may have been playing badly this season, but he's a quality player and he has creativity, plus we need a left winger and he can operate anywhere in midfield.Even if he doesn't work out that well,3m isn't too hefty a price to pay for squad depth, something we still lack compared to the Milanese clubs.

Indeed. Now that you put it that way if Fiore can come at a minimum price we should go for him, even if he would just be a backup for Nedved or Camoranesi. I think he would be an upgrade to Olivera.
