Cris the brazilian?

Why is it when we finally do realize brazilians might be worth buying, we go for a brazilian defender? How smart does that make us look?

IMO, if we're going to buy a non-EU defender, we should get an American. They have tons of good defenders and having an American on the team would increase our profile in the fastest growin soccer market in the world.

Cris would be a good deal for the next 4 years.

Meanwhile, William Gallas has given Chelsea an ultimatum. Agree to a tranfer request or he'll leave anyhow.

The current imbroglio with Capello/Moggi/Giraudo/Bettega may of course adversely affect any imminent transfer dealings.

Imagine if you will that Capello and Moggi were to work at Internazionale wef next season. They are hardly going to pull the stops out in the calciomercato for Juve.

Moggi may be shown the door at todays board meeting. Capello will probably make an announcement, one way or the other, next week after the Reggina Calcio vs Juventus match.

That's because he does not want to play in Serie B.
