{Juventus are lining up a double swoop for Italy U-21 duo Andrea Coda and Daniele Dessena, according to reports in Italy.
The Bianconeri are looking to strengthen their squad in January and were impressed by the performances of the pair, who were part of the team which booked a spot at the U-21 European Championship in the Netherlands next summer.
Coda, who turned 20 in April, had already been tracked by the Old Lady in the past, but was then signed by Udinese.
However, the centre-back is struggling to find a spot on the first team and it is thought he would be keen on a lucrative switch to Turin.
The former Empoli man made his debut in 2004 and could be an asset for the team’s defensive department as he is very fast, despite his towering presence.
Dessena of Parma is also a target for director general Alessio Secco and his staff, and could be allowed to leave the Ducali.
The 19 year old has netted fout goals in 24 Serie A matches and is highly valued for his ability to break into the box with perfect timing.
Parma have valued the player at 2.8m pounds and the Bianconeri may be willing to meet the asking price in order to guarantee themselves the services of the youngster}
---------
Not sure about Coda, but Dessena definitely has a bright future.
